01. Acceptance of Terms and Scope of Service
ConstraintCraft Project Cards provides structured computer-aided design (CAD) challenge generators, parameterized maker prompts, design constraint rubrics, and modular STEM educational curricula. These Terms of Use govern all visitor interactions with our web platform, accessible via desktop, mobile devices, and local embedded workshop interfaces.
If you do not agree to every clause outlined herein, you must immediately terminate access to all ConstraintCraft materials, downloads, and interactive constraint engines. Ongoing access constitutes complete, unconditional acceptance of these terms.
02. Intellectual Property Rights and Permitted Usage
All proprietary design cards, algorithmic constraint pairing methodologies, pedagogical rubrics, illustrations, branding assets, custom web scripts, and design interfaces are the exclusive intellectual property of ConstraintCraft and its licensors, protected under international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property conventions.
Permitted Educational & Personal Use:
- Displaying cards in non-commercial classrooms, universities, coding clubs, and public makerspaces.
- Printing physical card decks strictly for in-person instructional exercises without admission fees.
- Exporting rendered 3D geometry generated from challenge prompts into personal prototyping workflows.
You may not redistribute, repackage, license, resell, scrape via automated crawlers, or publish digitized ConstraintCraft card decks as paid assets without explicit, prior written authorization from our administrative team.
03. Acceptable User Conduct and Fabrication Safety
ConstraintCraft promotes responsible engineering and inclusive educational design. By interacting with our prompt engines and project libraries, you explicitly covenant that:
- No Weaponry or Hazardous Items: You will not use ConstraintCraft prompts or constraint variables to model, simulate, or fabricate firearms, lethal projectiles, bladed combat weapons, explosive casings, or prohibited hazardous items.
- Physical Testing Prudence: You acknowledge that CAD models designed to meet arbitrary constraints (e.g., maximum mass, bridge spans, thin-wall thicknesses) may fail structurally under real-world load testing. Always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) during additive manufacturing or mechanical load trials.
- System Integrity: You will not deploy malicious payloads, bypass UI throttling, execute automated rate-limit breaches, or attempt reverse engineering of platform databases.
04. Third-Party CAD Software & Tool Disclaimers
ConstraintCraft cards frequently suggest modeling workflows optimized for Autodesk Tinkercad, FreeCAD, Blender, Fusion 360, OpenSCAD, Onshape, or other third-party 3D modeling environments. All brand names, software titles, and trademarks referenced are property of their respective holders.
ConstraintCraft is an independent project methodology and is neither officially affiliated with, nor endorsed or sponsored by, Autodesk, The Blender Foundation, Dassault Systèmes, or PTC. You are solely responsible for obtaining legitimate licenses for any third-party software you choose to employ.
05. User-Submitted Constraint Cards and Community Ideas
When you submit project proposals, custom constraint rule suggestions, feedback, or classroom modifications through our contact forms or community modules, you grant ConstraintCraft a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to curate, adapt, publish, and integrate such concepts into public card decks without accounting or compensation.
You represent that all submitted design suggestions are your original creations and do not infringe on existing patents, industrial designs, or proprietary company trade secrets.
06. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The service and all downloadable constraint materials are delivered strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. ConstraintCraft expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a specific engineering purpose, and non-infringement.
Under no legal theory shall ConstraintCraft, its founders, educators, or contributors be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from machine hardware damage, 3D printer hotend fires, filament toxic fume exposure, structural failure of printed parts, or loss of project data.
07. Modifications, Revisions, and Termination
We reserve the exclusive right to update, revise, modify, or retire any segment of these Terms of Use at our sole discretion. Any changes will take effect immediately upon updating the revision date in this document. Your continued use of the platform after updates confirms your assent to revised terms.
We retain the right to suspend or terminate workshop access or IP licenses for any user violating these provisions without prior notification.
